Hi All,

What I want to do is use a smallish lcd tv for a second monitor/normal tv. My price range is somewhere in between $200-$300 for the tv. The problem is that I cant seem to find a small tv in that price range with a DVI input. So here is the idea I have.

Use This: http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9321G/B?fnode=MTY1NDA3Ng&mco=MjE0ODQzNg

and then this: http://store.apple.com/us/product/TR842LL/A?fnode=MTY1NDA3Ng&mco=MjQzNDExMw

to connect my new unibody macbook pro to an lcd tv through the HDMI input, I realize that DVI does not have sound so I will either play the sound through the speakers on my desk or using an audio cable from the computer to the tv.

Does any one know if this will work? feel free to let me know if I am just being dumb and there is a better way to do this. If anyone has any suggestions for an HD lcd tv in that price range that would also be helpful

thanks
