I have download a few video downloading programs for Mac so that I can download some online videos but none of the 4 programs allow me to do so. I use Firefox as my browser and tried a few extensions/plug-ins but none work. I am getting frustrated because I can't seem to find one that will allow me to d/l video... Please help (I think the player used on the site is Flashplayer if that helps)... Thanks !!

If you mean videos that are embedded in Flash, you can use Video Download Helper in Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006)

or you can use the Activity Window in Safari, as it most probably will show you the .flv (Flash Video) item (biggest file most of the time), on which you can double click, which results in a downloaded file, which then can be converted to whatever via MPEG Streamclip.

On the other hand, it just might be, that the video you want to download is just streamed, and not downloaded itself in your browser's cache. Then I don#t know of an option, besides screen recording.
