Help: videos and iPhoto

Hello,
I was hoping someone could help me with this. I have 2 videos on my digital camera, but they simply do not appear in my iPhoto gallery when I import everything from my camera.
I have made videos before with the same camera and those did upload, although even then I had some problems. (I had 4 videos, but only 3 uploaded until I tried the next day and then it did upload)
Does anyone know what the problem may be?

What version of iPhoto are you using? Movies would not import into some of the older versions, only the newer.

Also, depends on type of video. .mov files will import to the iLife applications without problem, other formats vary.

Thanks for the replies.

I have version 6.0.6. and the files are AVI format. I've already imported a couple of AVI vids, so I'd think it could do it again, but for some reason it doesn't...

Any ideas?

Hmmm.. My camera records in .avi as well, and so far i havent had a problem with iPhoto and importing.
