I recently bought a late 2013 Macbook pro with 8gb of ram and 256gb of memory. It's worked great for the month ive had it but about a week ago some videos stopped playing. On Youtube the ad will load a little bit and then stop and not continue to load. Also even in the advertisements the sound won't play. Please help, thanks!

Also should mention that this problem is only in google chrome

So use Safari. I don't get why so many Mac users insist on using Chrome when it's the worst browser for OS X (resource hog and battery hog).

Just use Safari.

I love Chrome, but they really don't seem to care about making chrome for OS X decent. Which is odd, because if you notice - most of their demos/dev events/even GOOGLE IO they were clearly using a macbook (not a chromebook).

Either way, Safari has gotten better in Yosemite, and your cpu/battery will thank you.
