I'm new here, but I already need help with something. I recently updated my phone to ios 5.1, and decided to jail break it with absinthe. The problem is that it slows it down , and sucks up battery life. I want to remove it; I know that I need to restore it to a time before I jailbroke it. I tried that, and it didn't work. I could work with it if it doesn't get removed except I can't download any hacks or anything because I accidentally deleted the cydia store. I would love to remove the jailbreak; if I can't remove it how do I get the cydia store back?

If you really meant 5.1, then your issues are becasue Absinthe is the wrong tool. Use RedSn0w to jailbreak 5.1 (tethered). Update to 5.1.1 first if you want to use Absinthe to Jailbreak (although you can use RedSn0w for this, too now I believe).
