I borrowed my freinds powerbook to burn some DVD's because I cheaped out and didn't go for the Superdrive option on mine.

Anyway, I bought DVD+R media. When I read the system specs of his 1.0GHZ 15" aluminum PB it says it only writes to DVD-R

...Just double checking that the +R media won't work in this book. Yes? Thanks!

The super drive on my iMac can read and write both + and - R's..

It depends which superdrive you've got. Previous versions did not support double-layer discs. New ones do. I learned this when I bought a ten pack of DVD+Rs and my Powerbook (1.25) said

New superdrives support (according to Apple.com:

DVD-Video
DVD-ROM
DVD-R
DVD+R
DVD+R DL
DVD-RW
DVD+RW
CD-ROM
CD-Audio
CD-R
CD-RW
CD Bridge
CD Extended
CD Mixed Mode
Photo CD
