Hey guys,

Simple question. What is a really good monitor 23"-24" monitor that I can get in the $150 - $250 price range? Of course it has to be HD resolution...

There are only 3 monitors below $300 at newegg which are 1920x1200.

My first requirement for "good" is that it is not "Full HD".

lol.. ok let me define good. 1080p resolution, <5ms response time, bright and crisp colors. and the front panel buttons should work

Also brandwise which is better? ASUS? Dell? HP? Samsung? Viewsonic? LG?

I have a 24" Dell. It was about $275 when I bought it and im very happy with it. From what I have heard and read when I was looking Dell and HP make some great stuff in that price range.

I have THIS ONE that was listed on CNet's Cheapskate blog - for $160, its a great monitor.

However, PC Connection doesn't have it anymore...

Look's like its about $200 or so now.
