Help! Weird wifi/3G connectivity issues

Hey guys,

I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 and it will not connect to wifi or 3G UNLESS I UNLOCK IT and go to the homescreen =/

Any ideas? Could this be a cydia thing? I don't have anything unusual installed!
