HELP: Whatsapp 2.8.4 NOT working on iphone 3g 4.2.1 and 2.8.7 NOT supported

I'll try to be brief here.
I know whatsapp 2.8.4 is no longer available for guys with ios 4.2.1 and the firmware cannot be updated any further too. but the thing is I have this device and want to run whatsapp on it.
I have tried everything available out there like:

Faking the firmware using ifile
Copying the info.plist file from any other registered iphone and replacing it with mine
Bypassing the activation code process
Back date installation
Editing the info.plist and faking app's version and check ios turned off

BUT.... nothing worked.
Need help guys.
