Help! Why does my mac keep freezing when I play video games

I have a Macbook Pro and when i play video games (Call Of Duty), it freezes!

Specifications: Mac OS X 10.7.5 (11G63b), @.2GHz Intel Core i7, 8 Gb 1333 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB.

Some times iTunes videos and music freezes to (just for a second)

Where do you get the game from?

Downloaded from the internet, but now iTunes videos and another games do the same thing and safari too
