hi,

what's causing this?

sometimes it starts up properly, and other times it will start up in safe boot.

i dont do anything else other than press the power button on my MBP...?

thanks for any help :)

its a a few months old 2011 15" MBP with all the latest updates. running snow leopard

anybody?

i have a new 2011 MBP.

from time to time, when i simply press the power button on the MBP it will start up in safe boot.

i then have to click on restart, and then it will start up normally...

?

i've never heard a mbp booting up in safe mode without the user pressing shift key (ah reminds me of the old mac os 7 days when pressing shift would disable extensions LOL)...
