ive been having this problem ever since i updated to the new photo booth...
when i try to record a video it will not record the full length for example i recorded a video that was 3 minutes long on photobooth when i hit the "stop" button i see that photo booth has only saved like 12 seconds of the whole video
what giveS?
pls help!
 
Are you shifting focus away from Photo Booth? If you do, it will stop recording.

no im not...
i forgot what keywords i google searched last night but i found another forum or post where people are hving the same problem and they couldnt find a resolution so im hoping some users on here will know what to do.
 
solution: QuickTime Broadcaster

To record Movies with your iSight-Cam use the free app QuickTime Broadcaster. Its great
- its free
- it lets you record small lowres movies or high qualitiy movies
- you can stream movies over internet but also save them directly to your harddisk.
read this to learn about the settings for harddisk recording: http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2003/07/01/isight.html (the most important settings are "Transmission," which should be set to "Manual Unicast," and "Address," which should be set to 127.0.0.1. By entering these settings, you're telling Broadcaster to save to hard disc instead of transmitting over the Internet.)
