iPad Help! Wifi greyed out on iPad 2!

After my restoring my iPad on iOS 7.0.4 through iTunes, the wifi option is always off and greyed out. I'm pretty sure it's a software issue because the wifi was working fine before the restore. I'm aware of this being an issue on iOS 7, but only on iPhones, and usually a hardware issue.
I'm kind of hesitant to try thowing it in a freezer...
Any ideas, guys? I've tried restoring it already, thanks!

Aye, that should do the trick.

I will say, how old is your iPad 2? I had a iPhone 3G where over time the WiFi chip came "unsoldered" from the main board, and had the same symptoms you are having. Could be that there is a physical issue with the chip perhaps.

Unlikely, but possible! You can always take it to an Apple Store if you have one nearby, and they will diagnose it for you.
