Hello All,

I'm looking to purchase an INTEL X25-M G2 80GB SSD as my boot drive for my 2007 MAC PRO 1,1 Quad 2.8... What will I need in order to install this drive ?
Are the SATA connectors compatible ?

I'm hoping to get some definitive advice here - I've searched all over and most people have detailed how to install them in Nehalem or 2008 models...

What do I need to make this happen ?

THANKS

Hey thanks for the advice,

I see the Kingston adapter is Unavailable at Newegg ? Any other recommendations as to which adapter I can get ? Does it need to be one of the Metal Sleds from MAXUPGRADES ?

Also, I've heard of the issues with BOOTCAMP ? How do I know that I am getting one of the newer revisions of the X25-M that have the firmware issue resolved ?

Thanks again
