Help with 3 speaker setup

Hi,

I already have 2.1 speakers and I would like my Bose Soundlink to act as a third speaker behind me via Bluetooth connection. Is this possible? I have gone into Audio MIDI setup and had a play but the output doesn't seem in sync even with drift correction ticked. Also, when outputting to the 3 speakers, there is a crackling noise from the 2.1 speakers. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
