Hi all,

Have been using a 30" aluminum Apple Cinema Display as an external monitor for 2 years with VESA mount adaptor mounted to my wall. I'm trying to re-attach the stand to the monitor since i'm giving it to a friend, but i seem to be unable to get the stand to reattach.

I took off the VESA adaptor, but when i try to put the stand into the back of the monitor i can't get it to "click" into place no matter how hard I push. It seems very close, like maybe another 1-2 mm would get it fully into place, but i'm not sure why it's this difficult. I don't want to push much harder because i don't want to damage the screen! I've been doing this with the screen face down on my bed.

Any ideas/tips?
