Help with 3gs on new bootrom

Hey guys just got my iphone 3gs, what would be the best path to get it jailbroken on iOS4?
Here is what i have:
PC: Windows 7 32 bit
iPhone 3gs 16gb, 3.1.3, New bootrom 359.3.2, and baseband 05.12.01


It hasnt been jailbroken before.

Not sure u can jailbrake it yet with a new bootrom, at least not with pwnage4.01. Wait for new tools.

There must be a way to check for new bootrom without doing the dfu mode i still cant determine what rom version im on how did you do it mate

You can use the Spirit jailbreak. But you wont be able to upgrade to 4.0 yet.

hmm this still requires dfu mode.. is there any risks in putting the phone in dfu mode and how do i get out of the mode once in it?

Just follow tutorial
1. connect to pc 2. turn of iphone 3. power button + home button for 10 seconds then release power button you ll see that ur phones screen is black with small gray frame around it 4. go to device manager and apple device, let me know if you have any problems
