I have a .dvr file from a CCTV security system that I need to be able to view and ultimately convert to DVD.

Has anyone run into this type of file and does anyone know what to do? I have access to both Windows and Mac systems.

I have tried every media player I had, Quicktime, VLC, MPlayer, and have had no luck.

Thanks for looking. I had found that link as well.

Apparently there are .dvr-ms files which come from Windows Media Center PCs and .dvr files that come from HDD based CCTV systems. I've spent over an hour trying to find something about .dvr and keep coming up with hits about .dvr-ms or other people with the same problem as me :p
