iPod Help with a video problem on iPod video.

Hi. My friend has an iPod video and she just bought a TV Show. When she connected her iPod, it seemed like it updated fine. Then she tried to watch the TV Show and there was audio but no video. I told her to reset and reconnect but that did not work. She asked if she should restore the iPod, and I said sure. However, iTunes wouldn't let her restore the iPod.

Any help is greatly appreciated. If anyone needs more information I can ask her. As for the model.. It's a 30GB Black 5G iPod (not 5.5G).

Are the video settings set to output to tv by any chance? If it's on, turn it off and you'll be set.
