Oddly I got a new BT wifi router this week and after mucking about with it for a bit found that literally moving it 2 feet to the left on my desk improved my d/l speed by almost 60 mb (but in the process made my desktop a pain) so now I am looking to tidy everything up a little - I run 4 SSDs off the back of the mini for my music / rom files and often back up with a few external spinning drives so even with the Anker hub I run out of ports often.... I was thinking of maybe moving the Mini even further to the left and off my desk entirely to be on top of my blue cabinet and just getting some longer leads and maybe another hub but do you lot have any ideas ?

Go to ebay.
Look for a used or "new old stock" Caldigit TS3 Plus (the "Plus" is important).
Can be found for under $100, sometimes considerably less.

Plenty of ports to "move stuff back" and out-of-the-way.
