Whenever my 2.4 ghz wireless phone in the house rings, my airport connection temporarily freezes until the phone is no longer being used. I figure this is because airport express and the phone share the same frequency..but I just wanted to know if other people have this problem. The phone is not close to the base station..but not very far either. I guess I can get a new phone for the house.

There are a few setting in the airport software you can change to resolve this .. one has to do with the channel hopping I believe and the other with signal robustness ..

as the previous person said, you could use interference robustness. however, it will kill your range. you could also try changing the channel on your phone. if that doesn't work you may have to switch to a 5.8ghz phone.
