hi guys, i have my mac upstairs connected to a buffalo wireless/wired router via ethernet, my mac connects great with it wirelessly too anywhere in the house.
my problem is iv just given my mum my old pc and tried 2 different wifi pci cards with constant issues like lack of signal and signal dropping every whenether it feels like it, would i be able to use an airport express to receive the wireless signal and plug the ethernet from that into the back of the pc to act as a wireless pci/dongle?

While it can be done, it is a long and difficult process to do if your main basestation is not an AirPort Extreme (G or N) or an AirPort Express. I would suggest a Belkin USB WiFi Adapter, then use a USB extention to place it wherever the signal is best.
