Help with app subscription

Sorry if this sounds a small problem but can someone help me?

I recently bought my first iPad and I love it. In a rash moment I paid up for the International Herald Tribune newspaper (through their app, I live in Japan) and after a few weeks I am not all that satisfied with it and want to cancel it. I have paid for one month, ok but I have searched on iTunes and my iPad and online and I can't see how to unsubscribe! Or should I send an email to them?

I have a feeling it's something simple .......... But ........... ?

It's pretty buried in iOS 6 but ...

settings
iTunes and App Store
Click on your apple id
View apple id
Enter your password
Under Subscriptions click Manage

They could have made it a whole lot easier, ie, subscription tab in settings
