Help with apple leather case?

i got the product red apple leather case for my XS Max. How can I make it a little more grippy? Thank you.

Some people simply use a cloth and small amount of water to scrub away the shiny/slippery layer. I’ve also heard talk of everything from sandpaper to Magic Eraser. For me it’s just been a bit of time and some leather conditioner. Really happy with the results after a few weeks.

This is true. Just use it and it will get more grippy. I ordered a red and a black max leather case. They're out for delivery and should be here soon. I've had leather cases on every iPhone since the 6+. Great cases.
