I have Dual 1.8 G5. A few months ago my ATI Radeon 800XT over heated and died. Since then I have been trying to find a card to replace it, but being my computer is just over 5 years old its been hard. My research lead me to buy a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro PC & Mac Edition, which of course need a DVI to ADC Adapter to plug in to my stock 17'' ADC display. I got the card today and it doesn't work. I know it is not the adapter because it works with my stock 64mb card through its DVI slot. When I boot up the card all I seeis a blue screen and a mouse, which soon becomes a beachball. All the drivers from the ATI site I all ready downloaded, (they seem a little out of date). Does anyone ave any suggestions on how to get this to work? Thanks!
