Hi all, first time poster. crossing over from a now deceased mac forum...
so what I'm experiencing is as follows. whenever I browse a Yahoo service like Flickr or Yahoo mail, 2 out of 3 time I will loose my WiFi connection. This is something I have noticed over the past year and can easily reproduce. Yahoo kills my connection. Airport icon seems to be connected but actually isn't, turning it off and back on solves the problem.
This is a real nuisance as I use Flickr and have a Yahoo mail account. Is this some kind of strange DNS problem? I am on a MBP running OSX 10.6
I'm seeing this in Console last time this happened a few minutes ago: "Airport: Link down on en1. Reason 8 (Disassociated because station leaving)".
Would love to hear your ideas as this is driving me insane.
