Hi there... I'm having trouble using Boot Camp to install Windows Vista on my MacBook... I suspect this has already been dealt with somewhere on this forum but I'm having trouble putting the pieces together and would like some help.

Basically, I used Super Duper to upgrade my MacBook's old internal drive to a 160gb, and am now trying to install Vista on my new drive. When I run Boot Camp, I get the error message, "The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition." When I go to Disk Utility, if I click on "149 GB" drive and click info, it says, "Partition Number: 0" and when I click on "Macintosh HD" and click info, it says, "Partition Number: 3".

So, I think that I need to run Disk Utility from my Mac OS X disc and reformat my hard drive as a single partition. My questions are:

1. Do I need to do this, or is there some other way?

2. If I do need to run Disk utility and reformat, what exact options do I need to select when running the utility to reformat my hard drive as a single partition?

3. If I reformat, what is the best way to backup/reinstall my applications, files, and settings? Can I use Super Duper and my old drive+enclosure to do this, or will this recreate my partition problem? Is there some other way to do this? Will Migration Assistant work?

Thanks much for any help.
