Hi!

So, I need your help with buying a new iMac 27' nonRetina. The problem is that the nonRetina models do not have the upgrade option anymore, so my choice is fairly limited.
I am finishing my masters of architecture the next year and have started to work at an architecture firm, where I am working on rendering in ArchiCAD, Artlantis, Cinema 4D..
Currently I have a late 09 iMac 24', which screems for an upgrade.

I have two options:

1.CPU: i5-4670 3,4GHz
RAM: 16 GB
HD: 256 GB Flash
GPU: GeForce GTX780M

2.
CPU: i7-4771 3,5GHz
RAM: 16 GB
HD: 256 GB Flash
GPU: GeForce GTX775M

Should I go with the better CPU or rather with the i5 and better GPU combination? Which would be better for my kind of work?
I do not want the Retina for various reasons.

Thank you very much for your help, I do appreciate it very much.

I'm curious why you don't want the retina iMac.

Your profession seems like one that would greatly benefit from a high resolution screen.
