Earlier this year, I bought a Panasonic PV GS500 3CCD Standard Def. Camera for filming semi-professional news packages. Little did I know that 2007 became literally a year for HD, with HD formats flowering. At the present time, I don't know what to do with the camera, since HD seems to be rapidly replacing many other formats.

The Panasonic camera still works awesome, and it is everything I want and more. Also, none of the news production teams and classes at my university have switched to high-definition yet. Should I switch over to high-def and dump the Panasonic camera when I still have the chance? Or should I stick with it till it dies?
