Help with Canon printer

I am trying to share my canon i860 printer over a wireless network with my ibook. The printer is connected to a windows XP machine. I have installed the driver from the disk that came with the printer, but it doesn't show up in the printer model drop down menu. I have scoured the net for some help, but haven't really come up with anything. Has anyone successfully done this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, where on a Mac is the drivers installed? This is my first Mac and I am still learning to get around.
