Help with Central back up for pc and mbp

Hey all,
I am really confused with back up issue of my desktop and macbook pro.
I have windows 8 desktop and latest retina macbook pro and multiple i devices.

I want sone central time capsule like plan for back up of all devices.
I Thought about time capsule but that it will back up just macbook and desktop will not be backed up.
What do i do

Look into a NAS, you can use that storage device to back up all your computers. Many people here like the synology NAS model.

And that NAS box ,can it backup iPhone and iPad as well
