help with decrypting PGP files

Hi there, i have a set of files with the extension .PGP i was wondering if anyone knew a simple way to decrypt or get rid of the extension on all these files using a program or through the terminal.

Usually something encrypted with PGP is not easy to decrypt. Moreover, I would consider it unethical to help anyone do it.
