Help with deleted iTunes music

Alright, so on iTunes I had a playlist with songs on them. I deleted it, then synced my iPad to it. Now that playlist isn't on iTunes or the iPad. How do I get the playlist back?

If you have a backup of your iTunes library folder you could do a restore. Otherwise you're SOL.

Did you delete the songs or just the playlist? Deleting a playlist won't remove the songs, but you can't get back a playlist after deleting it, unless you have a backup.

You do regular backups of your computer, don't you? Just in case the HDD dies and you lose everything?
