Help With E-Mail!!!

My E-mail has worked for over a year now with out a problem... Now I cant send my email, I called the help desk for my service, Qwest.net and they said I have all of my settings right. I have tried to send with Mail and entourage both dont work. I get an error message that says I cant connect to port 25. Anyone know of something in OS X that Might need to be changed to get this to work?

Oh ya I also just turned off the firewall in OS X.
