I have recently spotted a problem in certain workbooks that when I move the cursor across to a 'distant' cell the workbook doesn't follow the cursor and move to show the active cell. I have to scrolling using the trackpad of the scroll bars.

I've tried to show this in a small screenshot, with the active cell shown as A558, but I'm stuck looking at A1 - T37 (100% view)

New workbooks don't have this problem, and a quit of excel and a restart doesn't seem to solve the problem.

Does anyone know what I've done and how to fix it? The spreadsheets are huge and important and to be honest it's a real pest particularly when it comes to copying and pasting since as soon as I copy a cell, it returns to 'home'.

Any help gratefully received
