Help with Facebook on my IPad

When I go to my facebook page on my IPad on the top of the page the "News feed, top recent and Most recent" Have disappeared.
The "update status","add photo", and "ask question" are still there.
The other new thing is a "recent stories" and "Top stories" on lines between posts.
I have cleared cache, cookies etc. Deleted and reinstalled the facebook app, and restarted.
I am a new user and I wonder if I accidentally clicked on something and changed a setting?

Facebook on iPad blows.

What app are you using? The iPhone FB app, a third-party app, a browser?

I use friend caster. It is not as feature rich as the android app but for news feeds and other typical use it's alot more friendly. I just wish is would also sync contacts on android as it does for android. I have to use my phone+ to do that on iPad which is manual.

Are you on the mobile fb site? Try the desktop fb.

You can also try Friendly Plus, works pretty well for me!

UPDATE:I think I have figured it out.Sounds like I am not alone. It seems that Facebook randomly chooses users to experiment with. Hopefully they will revert to the old way.
