Help with ffmpegX. Need to make DVD.

I have a .mpg file as the source format, I am confused as to which format I need to convert to so if you could help me out i'd appreciate it.

Which one of these formats do I need to convert to in order to burn it to a DVD?

"DVD mpeg2enc" (best quality) or "DVD ffmpeg" (faster).
