I have a .mov file that was corrupted because I didn't have enough storage on my computer while I was creating the file. It is just over 700mb and will not open on quicktime. I have tried to repair the file using stellar phoenix video repair (won't repair), VLC (won't recognize the file), remo repair MOV software (will not recognize), and Yodot (won't recognize). I have also followed the instructions in a youtube video which suggests to check the file using mp4repair.org (which recognizes the file and shows a preview), and then to use grauonline.de to repair the file (doesn't work). Technically, mp4repair.org could probably repair the file, since it's the only page that actually showed me a preview of the file, however, this isn't software, it's a company that has a team do it for the customer, and because the file is roughly 2.5 hours long, it would cost me upwards of several hundred dollars. Could anyone provide me instructions on how I can repair the mov file myself without hiring someone to do it for me? Or alternatively, does anyone know of a program that can succeed where others have failed? Thanks
