if you don't need to watch the video in the web browser then you can use VLC (I suggest this since it's more efficient than quicktime in my experiences) and go to file then open file and put the URL of the video in the Media Resource Locator. Then if it plays then you know something is up with the web browser rather than Flip4Mac.
