iPhone XS Max Help with Google Chromecast

Hello all,
Recently got the iPhone Max, I had an android prior. In my google home app I see my various Google home speakers and Chromecast audio devices, but cannot seem to find the option to connect to them. Do I have to reset these items up through the apple app even though I can see them in there? If not, I need help as to how to get them working. Thanks!!
