Okay so im trying to convert some dvds for my video ipod and after i converted one i played it on my mac mini and the audio is all scratchy. whats wrong!? how can i fix this. keep in mind this is a concert dvd if thats makes any difference. thanks in advance
 
Yes, please give a little more information. What bitrate did you use? What settings? (MP4 or H.264?) etc etc, I'll be glad to help! :)

I followed the steps on that site, but made TWO changes:

- Upped the average video bitrate from 400 to 768 (the maximum)
- Changed the audio bitrate from 128 to 160

The result? Two movies that won't play on the iPod. I'm now trying again with the default values of 400 and 128... will let you all know how well it works (gonna take a few hours to rerip the movie).
