I turned it on my computer that I want to stream to my phone. I limited to only share movies. But when I turned it in my iPhone it shares movies, but also music and everything else? I only want to share movies. Also I see in the remote it it has a "shared" tab, what's that for?

Nevermind the top, but I still don't understand ''Sharing'' tab? is that for Apple TV only? And in the new iOS 7 version of Remote, whats the sharing tab in ''More'' do?

Homesharing is designed to allow you to access libraries across your network. For instance, my mom has a few songs I like in her iTunes library, so with homesharing I can access her iTunes library and even sync it to my iPhone, while I have some movies on my account she likes to watch sometimes on her computer. It's to share libraries across devices and can't be chosen to only share some (since the only things than can be homeshared anyways are iTunes purchased content).

The sharing tab is if you're signed into homesharing.
