Help with iCloud Calendars

So I am updating my MBP, iPhone and iPad... I didn't realize that icloud sets up its own calendar list on my MBP, so I deleted all the duplicates instead of just hiding one set of calendars. I accidentally deleted the icloud duplicates. Now I'm trying to get my calendars to sync between all iDevices and but my iphone isn't seeing anything (I assume because my MPB hasn't sent its calendars to the cloud again)... I don't know if any of that made sense, but any help would be appreciated.
