When I share my iMovie project with iDVD (share -> iDVD), it takes a few hours to render the video. However, after it is done, I don't see iDVD showing up, and I do not see any iDVD project being created. I do not see any error message on iMovie either. It had happened a few times already and I could not figure out the reason. I do see that around 12GB free space is gone after the "sharing" but I could not find the iDVD project file anywhere.

I did a google search and also a search here but I did not find any related information. Could someone help?

Thanks
Andy

My guess is that for some reason iDVD is silently crashing.

What version of iMovie are you using?
Try exporting your movie to a file first and importing it into iDVD yourself.

You are probably right. After I restarted my mac, iDVD eventually showed up after rendering. BTW, I am using iMovie 09. Thanks!

There is a time limit on how many minutes you can burn. Usually you get a error message. Check your logs in the console and see why iMovie crashed on you.
