Help with installing Cydia packages

Hi, please help me....I just bought a ipod touch 3 generation 3.1, but I cannot install cydia packages. I need to download some apps about nursing from cydia, but I cannot install. This is my first time using ipod touch. If you guy know how to install cydia or how can I download nursing apps, please let' me know. thank you very much.

If you have a 3rd gen iPod Touch, you can't install cydia on it yet -- the program to allow you to do that hasn't been released yet.

But are you sure this nursing app you want is on Cydia, and not the iTunes App store? An app about nursing doesn't sound like something that is likely to be on Cydia...

First of all, Cydia isn't available on the 3G iPod Touch, nor is the Jailbreak.

Second, I think you have it in your mind that you can only install apps from Cydia. Well, you can download apps from the App Store as well.
