Help with iphone 3G

I just updated my iphone 3G and lost all of my contacts. Any suggestions on how to get them back. I also have a new laptop so the contacts are not on my computer.

You should have created a backup before you updated it on the new computer.
Your old backup is on the old computer and you can only restore to that backup if you got acess to it still.

Copy the contact files from your old to new pc and then re sync your iPhone with your new laptop.
