Hi, I looked for a while, and basically everywhere. I couldn't find a solution. My iPhone 4s doesn't make the basic noises (Locking/Unlocking the phone, Text ticks, Game sounds, etc) but it will play music, and ring. My silent mode is off, all of the other settings are on, text tones, etc. I reset all settings and it still won't work. Help? Thanks:D

I thought it was something like that too, thanks, I'll probably do that.

You did make sure the volume was turned up right :p

Seriously....probably get Apple to look at it/get genius appointment, as was already mentioned. Maybe something isn't assembled properly inside, or who knows....

Edit - Except you say music is ok. So that doesn't really cut it....must be software. As was already mentioned above lol

2nd Edit - I'm not with it today so this just came to me. You can change the ringer/sounds volume in settings for sounds, and there, you can turn off or on 'change with buttons' for ringer/alerts volume. Maybe that is all the way down and turned off?
