I bought a phone from a friend and he said it was from T-mobile... When I did the normal thing with the setting up I can't get pass through the Sim thingy... I checked the phone's IMEI and it said it was blacklisted from T-Mobile because of the bill thing. Can I still use this phone or go pass the "need sim" thing?

I'm not sure but I believe once the phone is locked out by the carrier, you won't be able to use it with another carrier. What you need to do is return the phone to your friend and get your money back. Maybe someone else might know of another way to get your phone working....?
