I just reformatted my computer, and am using snow leopard. I have an iPhone 3G, and am trying to reconnect it to my computer. Everything was going fine, and i successfully synced all of the apps, contacts, etc, but when I was syncing a music playlist, and chose to erase and just put the new playlist on, I can't get it to work.

What happens is that it begins the sync like normal, gets to the music part, says song 1 of ..... and a second later the iphone dissapears from the itunes menu and the syncing stops. The iphone however, still says syncing, until i cancel it on the phone. I've tried creating different playlists, and even no playlist (which successfully cleared out the iphone). I just can't get any music back on.

any idea what's going on??

thanks
