help with iphoto deleting

i cant move photos to the trash in iPhoto, it makes a weird noise. I tried quitting the program, tried reseting, but its still doing it, very frustrating

are you moving it to the iPhoto trash or the trash on the dock?

You should be using the iPhoto trash.

Repair permissions. Eventually, try deleting the picture from the library, but ask somebody else here if it can do any harm to the system before you do it.
